“Rediscovering our relationship with Mother Earth”
'Connect to Another' is an act of resistance to the world living in disconnection. Through a place-based approach, the community movement aims to build a stronger sense of self and the surrounding by acknowledging the 'more than human' world without whom we are unable to sustain ourselves.Collective art-making is used as a tool and an instrument to build relationships through creativity, and curiosity. Art is seen as a barrier who can help us listen to the whispers of the living Earth, reviving a lost bond.
This project is initiated by Deepali Pahwa. Her creative practice inquires ecological crisis through the lens of ancient wisdom, researching practices where the natural world is perceived as a 'being' rather than a 'thing'. She aims to build a world, a community who carries deep respect for the Earth.
